Receipe: Plum Bites Cooking Instructions

Oven (Recommended for Best Crispiness – 15-20 minutes):

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) / fan 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking tray with foil or parchment and place the bites in a single layer (use a wire rack for extra crisp if desired).
Bake for 12-18 minutes, flipping halfway, until edges are crispy and glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
Optional: Broil/grill for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra char (watch closely to avoid burning).
Rest 2 minutes, then serve hot – garnish with sesame seeds, sliced green onions, or fresh chili for flair.

Air Fryer (Quick & Crispy – 8-12 minutes):

Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Place bites in a single layer (no overcrowding – cook in batches if needed).
Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway, until glaze is sticky and edges crisp.
Serve immediately.

Pan-Fry/Stovetop (For Extra Caramelization – 8-10 minutes):

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with a drizzle of oil (or no oil if glaze is fatty enough).
Add bites in a single layer.
Cook 4-5 minutes per side, turning gently, until heated through and glaze thickens/glazes further.
Drain on paper towel if needed.

Tips from the Butchers:

Don't overcook – pork is already tender; focus on crisping the edges and warming the glaze.
Serve with steamed rice, Asian slaw, or grilled veggies to balance the richness.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in oven/air fryer for best texture.

Enjoy these addictive bites – they're a customer favorite for good reason!
